Decoding a New Brand Identity
Since its inception in 2010, EBS Integrator had experienced significant growth, evolving from a small startup into a major player managing complex digital transformation projects. For over a decade, its brand was an internal affair, guided by intuition. Following our co-founder’s speech at Business Brains, the leadership team acknowledged a critical fact: to achieve the next stage of commercial growth, a proper brand strategy was no longer an optional extra, but a commercial necessity.
The branding Challenge
From Intuition to Intention EBS Integrator faced a common but critical issue: its brand perception lagged behind its operational reality. While the firm had evolved into a heavyweight, its brand failed to communicate the depth of its strategic capabilities. The market was a sea of sameness, with competitors basing their positioning on tactical execution—raw technical prowess and team size—rather than any discernible strategy.
The challenge was to codify and articulate a distinct market position that would resonate with clients seeking genuine business solutions, not just commodified coding hours.

Uncovering the Hidden Gem The engagement began not with creative ideas, but with a proper diagnostic phase. The client’s deep involvement, including founder Vitalie Aremescu, was crucial. This audit of internal processes and market context revealed a core asset the company had internalized to the point of invisibility. While the competition was selling coding, EBS was focused on solving strategic business problems. Their core capability was a rigorous, upfront business analytics process for every project, ensuring the final technological solution was strategically sound. This was not a creative flourish, but a fundamental insight. It presented a rare opportunity not just for distinctiveness in a crowded market, but for genuine, defensible differentiation upon which a brand could be built.
Brand Strategy
The strategy, therefore, was to position EBS as expert "decoders" who unravel business complexity to reveal the most effective path to growth. This leverages their core, and now visible, point of difference: advanced business analysis. For a client, the value proposition is fundamentally altered. They are no longer hiring a simple development team, but a strategic partner that diagnoses their challenges before engineering a solution. This pivot was crystallized in a new tagline: Decoding complexity, enabling growth. The phrase acts as a clear promise, building a brand on the durable foundation of strategic value, not the shifting sands of tactical execution.
From "Doer" to "Decoder" The brand diagnosis made the strategic mandate clear: shift EBS Integrator from the commodified scrum of technical "doers" to the distinct and defensible position of a strategic guide. A gaping hole in the market existed for a firm that led with strategic clarity.
Brand Identity
With a clear strategy defined, the next step was to translate it into a distinctive set of brand codes. Every design choice was a deliberate expression of the core concepts of clarity, expertise, and transformation.
New brand logo
The rebranding required moving away from the original logo, whose dated typography and cluttered hierarchy reflected the company's early-stage origins. To align with the new strategy, the old mark was retired in favor of a clean, unified logotype that projects confidence and expertise. This visual shift was a necessary step in communicating their evolution from a tactical provider to a strategic business partner.
The identity required a projection of stability and momentum. We chose strong, clean letterforms for confidence, while the custom-designed "A" in "INTEGRATOR" serves as a direct visual expression of progress and growth—a subtle reinforcement of the strategic promise.

Building Distinctive Brand Codes
The brand's graphic system consists of two core assets that visualize the company's two-part promise. The primary brand pattern, with its underlying grid of dots, represents the order and clarity that EBS imposes on complex business systems, embodying the "decoding complexity" phase. Overlaid on this is a dynamic gradient that moves towards a vibrant green, symbolizing the client's journey towards success. This is complemented by a secondary graphic element—the stylized "A" from the logotype, used as a standalone mark. This "arrow" serves as a more direct and iconic signifier of progress, acting as a concentrated visual metaphor for "enabling growth."
Colour Palette: We rejected the generic "tech blue" that signals undifferentiated commodification in the sector. A sophisticated Main Violet was chosen to create a perception of high-value expertise, positioning the firm closer to a consultancy than a code shop. The vibrant Green accent is used purposefully to highlight results and key data, visually linking the brand to client success.
Typography: Clarity is a non-negotiable attribute of an expert, especially in such a complicated field. The Inter typeface was chosen for its supreme legibility across digital platforms, reinforcing the brand’s promise to "decode complexity" through clear, accessible communication.
Graphic Elements: The system of geometric patterns, completed by a gradient that covers them, represents structure and the process of imposing order on chaos. These elements visually articulate and reinforce the core strategic narrative of integration and order.

The result was the total transformation of the EBS Integrator brand. We elevated their identity from one based on intuition to one driven by a sharp, differentiating strategy. The project armed them with a cohesive brand platform and a sophisticated visual system that finally reflected their true capabilities. The enthusiastic adoption of the strategy and its seamless translation into the identity validated our collaborative approach and catalyzed a new era of confidence for the client.
